Throughout his works, Ryan Cherewaty (1980, CA) explores various notions of the autonomous mind. This has lead him to investigate subjects such as artificial intelligence, drone technology, and climate change, questioning future scenarios and raising curiosity into a world in which the human brain is no longer the most dominant. Primarily working with 3-D animation, Cherewaty also makes large scale spatial installations, and increasingly explores ways to make his work more interactive.
Ryan Cherewaty (1980, CA) lives and works in Rotterdam (NL). Cherewaty holds a BA in Design from York University/Sheridan College, Toronto (CA), and graduated Cum Laude from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam, in 2018.
